We’re proud to announce that Marcus Peters CFIOSH FEI C.S.P.A. , a passionate volunteer and advocate for the Armed Forces community, has been shortlisted for the Made it Happen Champion Award at the Global Offshore Wind Awards 2025. This is a prestigious individual honour celebrating those who have driven real progress in the clean energy revolution.
Marcus is a Royal Navy veteran and global offshore wind leader and HSE professional, who has spent over 17 years advancing renewable energy projects globally and shaping offshore industry standards in HSE through vital work with industry organisations. But his most enduring impact lies in his mission to make offshore wind a sector of choice for the Armed Forces community.
Through tireless mentoring, advocacy, and leadership, Marcus has:
- Created pathways to employment for service leavers and veterans
- Promoted offshore wind as an inclusive, welcoming industry
- Championed collaboration between defence and renewables sectors
