Collaboration with Renewable-UK provides free conference places for the Armed Forces

Renewable-UK and Mission Renewable are delighted to offer 20 FREE places for Service Leavers, Reservists and Veterans (worth around £300 each) to attend the prestigious Global Offshore Wind, the leading international conference and exhibition focused on accelerating the deployment of offshore wind energy at the Excel London on 18 June 2025.

The day will be fully guided by a Mission Community volunteer who is an expert in renewable.

The event will bring together over 5,000 attendees from more than 50 countries, including industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators. Under the theme "Mission: Possible," the conference will address the urgent actions needed to achieve UK and global offshore wind targets for 2030, featuring keynote speeches, expert panels, and a sold-out exhibition showcasing over 180 organizations.

This is an amazing opportunity to get an insight into this incredibly dynamic part of the Renewable sector and how industry is dealing with the multiple challenges involved in that while meeting targets and we’ve a jam-packed agenda for the day including:

  • Arrival - 0900 -1000hrs: Enjoy a tea or coffee in the networking area. Introductions all round and initial brief from Renewable-UK and Mission Renewable.

  • 10:15 – 11:15hrs: Mission ready: building a supply chain for the net zero era

  • 1130hrs: Visit to the ORE Catapult

  • 1215-1240hrs: Attend Venterra Supply Chain Theatre (lunch and briefing on the Venterra Group)

  • 1300hrs: Attend RWE stand – RWE briefing

  • 1345 -1425hrs: A8: North Sea collaboration: the green power plant of Europe

  • 1500hrs: Networking area – wrap up and close

  • 1500 – 15:55hrs: Next steps briefing: learning from other industries
